Art Nouveau style Tarot card illustration and design for the Major Arcana X (The Wheel of Fortune).
The card depicts Fortuna as she holds the Wheel of Fortune with the symbols of the zodiac signs and the sun in the centre, symbolizing life itself.
Between Fortuna's hand and the wheel, a snake slithers its way downward, representing the greek god Typhon and the concept of reaping what you sow. The symbols of Anubis and Jupiter located at the top along with the Roman number X enhance the meaning of this card, both of them representing good fortune.
Fortuna's eyes are blindfolded as she relies on her intuition to turn the Wheel of Fortune instead of physical elements or senses. For fortune is a much more spiritual element. She wears peonies in her hair, symbolic of good luck, prosperity, love, and honor.
Her hair floats and intertwines, representing the strands of fate, as they seem to be entangling themselves but always managing to avoid getting stuck.

The back of the deck is designed with a holographic effect. The frame mirrors the one used in the front, but with inverted colors. The center depicts typical Art Nouveau graphic elements to identify this deck a an Art Nouveau version of the classic Tarot.
